Members of the Climate Action Group have engaged their local politicians with calls, emails and attending public hearings. They  have also taken action to oppose expansion of the Oak Creek gas plants and urge faster adoption of renewable energy (wind and solar).

The UN's Climate Conference - What LWV Observed

The LWVUS sends delegates to the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change annual conference. This webinar, featuring the LWVUS delegates, describes their experiences and the conference’s outcomes in November at Baku, Azerbaijan. Also, we have a discussion on what the change in Washington DC means for the United States’ presence in the global climate discussions and negotiations.
