Joan Schwarz will be speaking with us. Joan is on the Board of Directors of LWVWI and is Chair of the State Impartial Justice Committee that has worked for months on educating the public about the Anti-Equity Constitutional Amendment that will be on the ballot on November 3rd. She is also a member of the LWVWI Legislative Committee, focusing on court integrity, redistricting, voting and elections and reproductive rights. She practiced law for 35 years and taught civic education and gender law and policy at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for 25 years. She has also taught constitutional law for League members for a number of years.
