About this event

Session 1: Thursday, September 3, 2026, via Zoom, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, CDT, will address Wisconsin’s current electrical energy infrastructure.

Homework before the session is to listen to the January 30, 2025, LWVWI American Civil Engineers - WI Section Webinar .


There are 4 speakers:

  1. Gregory Schroeder, ASCE-WI Section 2024 Infrastructure Report Card Energy chapter author and retired We Energies engineer, who will report on the 2024 Energy chapter grade of C+ and recommendations for raising the grade.

  2. Dan Kreuger, Executive VP & Infrastructure & Generation Planning, WEC Energy Group, who will explain “The Plan” slide.

  3. Gregory Levesque, VP—Regional & Local Affairs & Siting Strategy, American Transmission Company, who will discuss power grid challenges. 

  4. Lucy Harvey, PhD, and Member, Wisconsin Utility Investors, Inc., who will give an investor perspective and provide insight on why she is a member of Wisconsin Utility Investors, Inc..
