Dear ~~first_name~~~~last_name~~ ,
On behalf of the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County, I want to begin by thanking you for maintaining the integrity of our elections, providing safe and secure polling places, and accommodating election observers.
I am also writing to thank you for your help with our VOTE411 Online Voter Guide last year and to enlist your help again this year as we gather candidate names and contact information for our Spring 2026 online Voter Guide at VOTE411.org.
A community volunteer will contact you later this fall about candidates on the ballot in the Spring 2026 election. Here is the information we will need about each candidate:
· Name
· Email address (campaign or personal)
· Mailing address
· Phone number (not required)
· Race/office sought
Once we have that information, ideally no later than January 7, we will send questions to each of the candidates, asking for their electronic responses in time to publish our Spring 2026 Voter Guide during the last week in January. With this tight timeline, your help is critical.
Our online Voter Guide enables voters to see the races, candidates, and referenda (national, state, county, and local) on their ballots and to compare the answers of candidates vying for the same elective office. Through VOTE411.org, voters can also verify their registration and locate their polling place.
This year our online Voter Guide will include all county-wide races in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties, all municipal and school district races in Milwaukee County, and municipal races and K-12 school district races in the fourteen most populous communities in Waukesha County.
Your help is essential in producing the online Voter Guide for VOTE411.
If you have any questions, please contact Beth L. Lueck, VOTE411 Team Co-Chair, at b.lueck@lwvmilwaukee.org.
Sincerely, |
