LWV Releases Results of Young Latinx Voter Study

The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County's Comite por el voto Latino/Latinx Voter Outreach team released and informal report of findings and recommendations based on responses from a segment of the local Latinx General Z population. "Gen Zs", are young adults between the ages of 18 and 23. The report aggregated 76 responses from a set of questions which reflect their views regarding voting. The survey was conducted between fall 2019 and spring 2020, largely at three college campuses.

The guide features contact information and responses from candidates running for US President, Vice-President, Congress, Wisconsin State Senate, Assembly, and Milwaukee and Waukesha County-wide offices

The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County joins civic coalitions in pressing Mayor Barrett and the Common Council to reduce the Milwaukee Police Department budget and the scope of MPD's responsibilities while reallocating resources to provide urgently needed social services to the City.
